Greetings!
Cycling in Southern Utah has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, from casual recreational cyclists to serious racers to elite IronMan competitors. However, in spite of this growth there has not been a unified voice to speak up for the needs and interests of local cyclists or to serve as a resource to municipalities when planning cycling facilities or events.
|
That has now changed with the formation of the Southern Utah Bicycle Alliance (SUBA). The mission of SUBA is to promote the infrastructure, policies, attitudes, behaviors, and knowledge necessary to make bicycling safe, convenient, and inviting for residents of and visitors to Southern Utah.
One of our first priorities is this Bike Summit. We've brought together speakers who will address how local communities can reap the economic, health, and transportation benefits of increased bicycling. The goal of the Summit is simple: To build relationships and enhance communication. We hope you will join us.
We would really appreciate knowing you are coming
