Mentors Make a Difference

Did you know that one in three young people will grow up without a mentor? Mentors show our youth that there is someone who cares about them and wants to see them succeed. Some of those we work with haven’t had the opportunity to build healthy, long-term, one-on-one relationships with adults that they can trust. Our mentorship program is trying to change that, but we need more people like you to become mentors!

Learn more about becoming a mentor and see how the program has helped impact the lives of Lukas, and his mentor Brenda.
The Wade Family

“Before, I never knew so many kids were out there without families,“ says Cynthia Wade, who has been fostering with her husband Robert for nine years.

After seeing the need, the Wades became specially-trained therapeutic treatment foster parents to help care for youth with elevated behavioral needs – like Ricky, their current placement who is 15-years-old.
We have a critical need for 105 therapeutic foster parents in this community! Join us for a free, one-hour information session to learn more about how you can become a part of the foster care community.
Learning to Love Yourself

“You’re your own worst critic.” We’ve all either heard or said this phrase before. Check out our latest blog post by training specialist, Shelby Clark, LCSW, LSCSW, RYT-200 that touches on the importance of having self-compassion and practicing self-love in a sometimes tough and misunderstanding world.
