"If we are going to make a real hearty effort in making both institutional and cultural change around abortion while increasing access we must expand the referral project's reach."

That was Wyndi Anderson talking about our goal to expand our referrals work into three new states this year. We are so excited to be able to expand this work into other places that need help in providing quality referrals care.

In the theme of growth, we have also been busy expanding our team and have a new State Coordinator in Oklahoma, a new Communications Intern, a new team member at WV FREE, and we are looking to hire a Program Assistant.

Karo Chowning, our new Oklahoma State Coordinator, spoke to why where we work is so important.

"In Oklahoma, we can be so fussy about being a fly-over state and we complain about how the movement is all East Coast women or legislative work, but here I am in Oklahoma doing access work, not legislation.  I'm so happy to be working with Provide."

We're also happy to share with you video footage from the incredible launch of the Abortion Referrals Training -- we are so excited to be a part of building the referrals work because of the ways in which referrals change the lives of women, and I am so proud to be part of a team making a change in the world.
