Qualified candidates must have an undergraduate degree, preferably in a field related to the arts and at least three years of directly related experience, preferably serving as Executive Director of a non-profit agency or equivalent. Previous grant writing experience and demonstrated success in working collaboratively with volunteers is required. presents a colorful selection of local landscapes plus 25-year retrospective figures, portraits, drawings, and sculpture by Thomas Stevens.
ENO Gallery
at 100 South Churton Street
presents “Summertime”, a group exhibition of gallery artists.
Margaret Lane Gallery
at 121 West Margaret Lane presents
"Wings, Wheels and Rails". The gallery will be filled with transportation images from local and visiting artists, including Kevin Flynn Bell, R. Chamberlin, William Hill, David Knox, Ray LaMantia, Nancy Ellen Walker, and Barbara Younger, working in an array of media.

Join us for some Soul, Beach, Motown, Top Forty and Dance music at the Historic Orange County Courthouse with

The four band members hailing from Burlington will play from 6:30 - 9:30 pm. Artists, food vendors, craftspeople, nonprofit groups and politicians will set up their wares on the sidewalks around the courthouse.

Calling all Painters! Register for Paint it Orange 2018
|

The Hillsborough Arts Council (HAC) and the
Orange County Arts Commission
(OCAC) will host the 2nd Annual Paint it Orange Plein Air Paint-out Fundraiser October 19-21. For three days, local and visiting artists will experience the beauty, charm, and rich history of Orange County by painting en plein air, capturing the landscapes and landmarks signature to our region. Last year’s event drew 50 artists from seven states and showcased 115 works of art. To allow for additional growth, HAC and OCAC have partnered with
C3 Hillsborough
, a beautiful new co-working space in Downtown Hillsborough, to co-host the exhibit and events. Registration is $25 on or before October 1, $30 after October 1. Register

, we are offering this Hillsborough Artist Workshop facilitated by
Suzan Scribner-Reed
and designed for artists who are new to displaying their work and those who wish to refine their skills and learn new tips and techniques for more successful displays. Participants will leave with key considerations and steps in setting up and displaying their artwork. The workshop, limited to 8 people, will be held on Saturday, October 6, 10 am to 12 pm at
Margaret Lane Gallery.
