Yikes, it's August. July is definitely the fastest 31 days of the year (and March the slowest!).

Baptisms & Dedications: I always enjoy welcoming kids into the church family through baptism and dedication. Sunday was no exception. I hope we will come around these families and give them our support as they raise their kids to follow Jesus:

We're Telling Stories at Cedarbrook - I closed out the B.L.E.S.S. series by talking about how to share your story about God. Then I interviewed Lloyd Stunkel to hear his story of how God met him in a very personal way. Be sure to listen to the message. You will be encouraged! Thanks Lloyd for sharing it!

We are going to continue telling stories for the next two Sundays. I always like to feature new ministry leaders and so over the next two weeks we'll hear from Mitch Haaby (youth) and Emilie Menz (worship).

Believer Baptism - Confirmation,  August 13th at 6:00 p.m.
Declare Your Faith or Come to Hear the Stories


Baptism is a person's public declaration of their new faith in Christ and commitment to follow his teaching. If you've never been baptized, now is the time! 

If you were baptized as an infant but want to confirm your faith, this is your time as well.
  • Baptism/Confirmation: Sunday August 13th 6PM. 
  • Meet with Pastor Remy before August 13th. Email him here to set up meeting.
  • Bring a dessert to share after the baptism.
  • Invite your friends and family. It's a great celebration of faith!

This fall we will take eight weeks to read our way through the New Testament with sermons and videos to support our reading.

In addition to the daily readings, videos, and sermons, we want to offer 25 circles where people meet to discuss the weekly New Testament readings.

Stepping Stones Food Pantry is partnering with Feed My People Food Bank (Eau Claire) to offer weekly free fresh produce distribution in Menomonie each  Thursday , from  August 3rd  through October,  from  11:00-3:00 pm .
