Our season continues this May with a man-eating, R&B-singing plant and the down-on-his-luck floral assistant he catapults to stardom in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. The Oscar-winning team of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman adapted the classic 1980’s movie musical for the stage, and now Clear Space brings Skid Row to Rehoboth Beach! We know school isn’t out for nearly two more months, but it’s already time to register for our Summer Intensives! To date, we’ve already received over 50 registrations, so those spots are filling up fast! There are five weeks of intensives this summer, including the return of our Acting Summer Intensive with THE ADVENTURES OF SINBAD. According to your child’s age, they could be singing the hits of CINDERELLA, MARY POPPINS, HELLO DOLLY!, or THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE this summer. So, pair your beach getaway with an unparalleled performing arts experience!

I’VE GOT A FRIEND IN YOU
The Clear Space Children’s Theatre makes its debut this month with I’VE GOT A FRIEND IN YOU, an afternoon full of songs and scenes of friendship from classic plays and musicals. Under the direction of Dana Peragallo, these 13 bright young stars will bring tunes like “Brotherhood of Man” and “I Don’t Need Anything But You” to life right on the Clear Space stage!
Performances: Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 at 3:00 pm

Spring Semester Performances
Students of all ages in our Arts Institute pour hours of hard work into rehearsals throughout the semester, and now is the time to show your support as an audience member! Our BROADWAY BOUND and CHILDREN’S ACTING TECHNIQUE classes will perform on Tuesday, April 24th and our BROADWAY LEGENDS class will perform the hits of 42ND STREET on Wednesday, May 2nd, accompanied by The Tapsations! All performances are free, so give our students a little encouragement and enjoy the results of a semester of hard work!
