- Trivia Night to benefit Hannibal History Museum, starts at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at Finn’s Food & Spirits, 214 N. Main St. Ten rounds of general trivia questions (not just history!), winning team will win $100 Cash. - Bluff City Theater acting and singing classes Feb. 3 - April 28. Beginning Acting (Ages 7-12), Saturdays 9:30-10:30 am; Beginning Singing for the Stage (Ages 7-12), Saturdays 10:30-11:30 am; Advanced Acting and Singing for the Stage (Ages 10-16), Saturdays 11:30 am-1:30 pm. Classes to be held at Bluff City Theater Annex, 403 Broadway. Financial assistance is available for all classes. Register online here.
- Be My Vegan Valentine 9 a.m. to noon Saturday Feb. 10 at FACT office, 4 Melgrove Lane. An Introduction to Vegan Meal Preparation, making pancakes, tofu scramble with veggies and biscuits and mushroom gravy. The class is free. Call 573-221-2285 for more information.. Make registrations online.
- Bud/Bud Light 35th Annual Chili Cookoff Feb. 17 at Admiral Coontz Recreation Center. Opens to the public at 11 a.m.
- Trivia Night to benefit Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum, starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Finn’s Food & Spirits, 214 N. Main St. This year’s trivia event will help support the restoration of the Pilaster House/Grant’s Drugstore. Trivia teams consist of up to 10 players per and compete in 10 different categories with 10 questions each. To register your team, donate items to the silent auction or sponsor a round of trivia for $100, contact Melissa at 573-221-9010 ext. 404.
- The Missouri Department of Conservation free workshop on basics of fly tying, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., March 3, at Mark Twain Lake near Perry. Pre-registration required here.
