Christmas tree
A Letter from Sister Peg O'Flynn, OP
Greetings and blessings from Weber Center! As we are enjoying the beauty of the changing seasons I want to let you know that Weber Center is also involved in a few changes.

As Director for the past eight years I have been blessed with welcoming hundreds of people who have ENTERED THE CENTER. Those who have come to this sacred place have left a piece of their spirit for others to experience. Weber is truly a sacred place, made more special by the presence of so many!

In life we all know there is a time to come and a time to leave, and the blessing is knowing when that time might be. For me, it is my time to leave Weber Center as Director and welcome another. My final day at Weber was November 14, 2016. Please know of my gratitude to all who have blessed and supported me and Weber Center throughout these years.

Also, Linda Braman, our Associate Director, who has given 32 years at Weber Center, will be retiring December 30, 2016. We thank Linda for her presence and unending service for more than three decades.

We welcome Sister Janet Doyle, OP, as Director and Monica Hunt as Associate Director. Sister Janet has been involved at Weber for the past month and will officially begin as Director on November 14, 2016. Monica will join the staff on November 28, 2016, to begin an in-service. Please join me in welcoming them to the Weber Center staff.

Sincerely,
Sister Peg O'Flynn

Watching and waiting are the ritual movements of winter solstice; it is a sacred light, a time when the sun appears to stand still bringing us the longest hours of darkness here in the Northern Hemisphere.  This is a time of waiting, watching, and trusting the Light that will shine clearly in the darkness.  As we light the Solstice Fire we pray blessings of gratitude, joy of the season and deep peace upon all.  Bring friends, children, and finger food to share!  Learn more
