We have completely redesigned our website and added many new and exciting features:
- Clickable maps with photos and descriptions of each campsite
- Information on local activities and attractions
- Event Calendar showing lobster bakes, local festivals, Do-It-Yourself Classes and more!

Now Accepting Reservations for 2011
 Many families have a favorite campsite they reserve for that special camping trip each year. Some of the more popular sites book up far in advance, especially on holiday weekends. Submit an online reservation form, or call us at (207) 865-9307 to book your site. |
Spring Clean-Up Weekends in May
 Each winter storms play havoc with the campground, and each spring a dedicated group of volunteers come to help clean it up. Volunteers get to camp at their favorite site for free! We will be having a potluck dinner Friday night, and we will be providing continental breakfast Saturday & Sunday, along with a BBQ lunch Saturday.

Now Offering Bicycle Rentals!
 New for the 2011 camping season! Recompence is always looking for ways to help our campers enjoy their time with us even more. This year, we will have a fleet of adult and kids' bicycles ready for you. In addition, we are expanding our kayak rentals to include tandem kayaks. |
Work-Camping Opportunities
 This summer, we have several opportunities for employment and work-camping. Spend all or part of your summer enjoying the peace and quiet of Recompence while helping others do the same.

Winter Activities at the Farm
If you live in the Freeport area, come enjoy the winter wonderland that is Recompence and Wolfe's Neck Farm. The grounds are open to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snow play - and the farm is offering these great winter activities as well:
Farmer for the Morning
Each Wednesday morning at 10am, preschoolers and their parents can visit the animals and help out with their care and feeding. Click here for dates and more info.
Do-It-Yourself Classes
Beat the winter doldrums, meet new friends, and learn a new skill this winter! Wolfe's Neck Farm is offering a whole series of workshops about permaculture, weatherization, cooking, gardening and more! Click here for dates and more info. |
Summer Camp Enrollment Open
 Imagine shopping, fishing, or reading in your hammock all day while the kids are occupied... They are having fun, meeting new friends and learning about the environment... just a short walk away from your campsite! Check out Wolfe's Neck Farm's Farm Kids Summer Day Camp. These week-long programs are open to kids four years old to ninth graders.
