Grand Rapids Women & Kindergarten History

On Wednesday, April 12, catch the world premiere of Scott Bultman's twenty-minute trailer on the history of Kindergarten!

7:00 p.m. at the old Federal Bldg (now Kendall College),
Pearl St NW, Room 217.

Scott discussed "radical" 1890s women supporting kindergartens in Grand Rapids at the 2016 History Detectives:   click here for that program.

Who were these women? Who was Froebel? Why were his ideas about childhood education seen as radical? Find out on Wednesday!
