A Message From Mr. Stoops

On Friday, we will conclude another successful school year! We have several meaningful activities planned to help celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of our students and faculty! I invite everyone to our final all school Mass for the year, beginning at 9:00 on Friday. At this Mass, we conclude by singing the Circle Song. It is a heartwarming experience to hear our students be part of this tradition as they prepare to advance in grade level. We will end the day and school year with our closing ceremony at 10:15 in the PC Gym. All parents are invited to attend both events.
Thank you for sending your angels to GA this school year. I cherish each one of the students, and have truly enjoyed interacting with them as they developed throughout the year. Guardian Angels School is a special place because of the people who make this an outstanding community! A shining example of the culture which has been created here occurred after our staff versus 7th graders kickball on Tuesday. Following their victory, once the 7th graders shook hands with the teachers and enjoyed a few minutes of cheering to their accomplishment, they all took a knee and began praying, thanking God for their many blessings. This was unprompted and unsolicited; they just felt it was the right thing to do. This made me exceptionally proud to be principal of this school. We are truly blessed with outstanding angels here. Thank you for sharing the gift of your children.
Looking ahead to the 2018-2019 school year, we are eagerly moving forward with many plans including the renewal of our school mission and beliefs statements, two new accreditation goals, construction of a new entrance, the relocation of classrooms, and much more! It is such an exciting time to be an angel! May God bless each community member for a safe and fun summer!

God Bless,

Last Minute Notes From The Health Room

Medication: Thank you to all of you who sent in medication for your children this school year. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep the medication for use in the next school year. For safety reasons, we require all medication be picked up by a parent or guardian at the conclusion of the school year.
Health forms are found on the website. If you know you will be sending prescription medication in with your child next year, you may print off the "Administration of Medication by School Personnel" authorization form (in the health forms section, under the parents tab, on the homepage) and have it signed by your healthcare provider this summer. (This includes emergency medication.) If you plan to send in new over-the-counter medication for your children in the fall; the same form is used, but only a parent signature is required.
Seventh Grade Immunizations: A reminder, the state of Ohio now requires two vaccines before students enter seventh grade, one dose of Dtap and one dose of Meningococcal (MCV4) vaccine. Thank you to all of you who have returned their immunization documentation. If any further documentation is required for your child, we have sent home letters with specific documentation required for him/her. We realize some of you will have appointments over the summer and hope this will be helpful.
Please feel free to contact us at any time.

Bid-N-Buy News

Pre-Register for the Online Auction
AngelsFest is holding the Bid-N-Buy online. It is a great way to include people who may not be able to attend the event. This electronic bidding allows you to view items online before the festival begins. You can then bid from your computer or cell phone at the event, from home, or even while on vacation. This platform allows you to set customized notifications which tell you that you've been outbid or you can set a limit and the system will automatically keep bidding for you up to that point.
Go online now to pre-register your mobile phone, tablet, or computer so you are ready to bid at the festival. After you register, you will then receive two texts; one with confirmation you are registered, one with your PIN and a link to your
personalized auction page. You need your PIN to view your site. Hold on to this PIN until after the festival weekend. If you have any questions, contact  Liz McElroy

Parish Parties
We are looking for some new faces to host parties for the parish. Examples of parties we've thrown in the past include a Card Party, Monster Mash, Ladies Night Out, 80's Party, Scavenger Hunt, and much more.

If you have questions or  if you want to be part of a hosting committee but don't want to come up with the theme just email  Margaret Dunn.
