A Message From Mr. Stoops

Each year, Guardian Angels School administers a standardized test to all students in grades 1-7. Results from the assessment are used to monitor student growth, provide teachers with instructional feedback, and identify strengths/areas of growth for the school. We consistently place in the top tier of all Archdiocesan schools, and are very proud of our students and teachers for this accomplishment. This year, testing will occur each morning on March 5-9. Please avoid using these dates for family trips, appointments, or other occasions that would prevent your child from attending school.

Re-enrollment for the 2018-2019 school year continues! All families received an email from Bob Buck, technology coordinator, with a link to complete re-enrollment. If your family did not receive this email, please contact the school office. Tu ition has been set for next school year and can be found on our school website.  All registration and technology fees must be paid to the school office for re-enrollment to be finalized. We are asking all families to re-enroll by February 16, 2018.

Finally, thanks to the many people who helped plan, organize, and execute a fabulous Catholic Schools Week! It was a wonderful celebration of our faith and school. We are blessed in many ways at Guardian Angels, and I greatly appreciate the support and pride of this tremendous community.

I look forward to seeing many people at the Cheers to 125 Years PTA event on Saturday!

Other News & Announcements
Music Boosters Needs You
The Music Boosters is in need of some new boosters to support the music and theatre programs at Guardian Angels school. As you have heard at the Christmas concert, our band program is one of the best around. The program consistently is awarded OMEA and Honor Band accolades along with a Jazz Band group that this year was chosen to perform for the OMEA in Columbus! Also each year the theatre program puts on a quality spring musical that engages and enriches students and urges them to step a bit out of their comfort zone... all while having a blast!
The music boosters would love to welcome new members for the current year and looking to the future. Music Boosters meet 6 times a year. It does not require much time but the benefits the boosters provide to support the programs are immense!
We are an easy going group and meetings generally only last about an hour. Can you spare a little time to support these programs and help them continue to provide superior opportunities for our Angels? If you are interested please contact Katie Montanus, Jan Diehl, or Holly Leach.
