National Women Build Week
May 5-12, 2012
INSPIRE
yourself, your community, your world
Women have the determination and capability to build homes for those in need. Join Benton Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's, as we train volunteers and give women the chance to take charge on the construction site. Women Build creates an opportunity to educate and nurture women to build--and advocate--for decent, affordable housing.
National Women build Week challenges women to devote at least one day to the effort to eliminate poverty housing. Join 275 Habitat affiliates across the country during this week. Together, women can affect dramatic change in their communities.

About Our Project:
Benton Habitat for Humanity will take on a special repair project for Carmon Thomas and her children in Philomath, OR. The Thomas family has lived in their home for 10 years. The house has been riddled with mold due to moisture in the walls. The repair will include replacing siding and windows that will make the Thomas' house safe and healthy.
