I hope you're having a great week!  We're back on again for tonight with a lecture on Sarah Bernhardt, one of the most prominent Jewish actresses of the late 19th century. She's a pretty bizarre character--used to sleep in a coffin, for example--and we'll use her fascinating life story to explore the phenomenon of Jewish celebrity in the modern era.
