We are underway in Lent. You are receiving the weekly email early in the week to note that our first reading and response is this WED. MAR.8, 4pm. Rhonda Cobb will be bringing in a passage from "Dignity, the essential role it plays in resolving conflict" by Donna Hicks, Ph.D. The book, circulated by Bp. Lane throughout the diocese, is a short, available, wise set of reflections on the work of Dr. Hicks in actual situations.
All are invited to come, listen, participate, and respond in prayer. You may suggest, for future weeks, a passage from a book you are reading, or one of those we have available in the parish hall. To follow our call to "read, mark, and inwardly digest" we need companions, in a setting we trust. We become Christ's body together, as we allow the Spirit to move among us. Come read, mark, and inwardly digest.
