Opening Your Box
When receiving your box you will notice that it comes in good condition. We ask that you help us keep it that way, so we may continue to use it many times this season.

Note that the top of your box has a crease. This crease is where you should begin to open the box.

Be careful and push back towards the crease of your box to open it. Try not to break the box in any way, as that will shorten its life span and increase our costs.

Open the box by pushing towards the crease until the tongue comes out of the L-shaped holes.

Carefully open the remaining folds on the top of your box.

Pull out the contents of your box by removing the entire bag. "Please reuse this bag as a trash bag in your bathroom or office after you are finished with it."

Place the bag of vegetables into your refrigerators crisper drawer for best storage.

Please leave your empty box at your doorstep the following week for our driver to pick up. "Please do not leave us any bags, rubber bands, clam shells or any packing material, just the box."

Though this email is a few days late, it is finally here and our inventory has been updated for the VIP accounts. The past few weeks came and went like a blur and now we are now looking at the final month of our Main & Shoobie Season CSA. We are sure that everyone has been enjoying our CSA Season, so lets keep it rolling!

This week we have no corn, but a new crop will be finishing off within the next 2 weeks. That means that we will end the summer SWEET... Our big crop of tomatoes is going to finish off very soon, but the crop of cucumber that we have been picking for the past 2 weeks has succumbed to a disease...

We will have lettuce next week and our Kale is coming along soon. Mustard Greens and Yellow Summer Squash are on their way to your doorsteps in just a few weeks too. A new crop of corn, string beans and cucumbers will be transplanted in the next week along with lots of greens.

Everyone on the farm is now burning candles on both ends to make sure everything is right. Picking our customers orders, sowing in our greenhouses, preparing fields for the fall, making all those deliveries, and keeping up with the office work is always tough during peak season...

Are you signed up for our Winter CSA?
