Our Winter CSA Deliveries have begun...

Opening Your Box
When receiving your box you will notice that it comes in good condition. We ask that you help us keep it that way, so we may continue to use it many times this season.

Note that the top of your box has a crease. This crease is where you should begin to open the box.

Be careful and push back towards the crease of your box to open it. Try not to break the box in any way, as that will shorten its life span and increase our costs.

Open the box by pushing towards the crease until the tongue comes out of the L-shaped holes.

Carefully open the remaining folds on the top of your box.

Pull out the contents of your box by removing the entire bag. "Please reuse this bag as a trash bag in your bathroom or office after you are finished with it."

Place the bag of vegetables into your refrigerators crisper drawer for best storage.

Please leave your empty box at your doorstep the following week for our driver to pick up. "Please do not leave us any bags, rubber bands, clam shells or any packing material, just the box."

JAH logo

It's hard to believe that this is the end of September and that we are entering into the final quarter of the fiscal year. The days are getting shorter and the farmers are getting an extra hour of sleep...

It has been rather busy around the farm, as we have continued to get more and more ground ready for the fall plantings. We have begun breaking down our tunnels and moving them to other locations in preparation for the Winter Crops that we grow for our VIP Customers.

It seems that, as always, we just cannot make enough time in the day to get it all accomplished. Although that is the case, by the grace of JAH, we somehow always get things done and are always eager to start a new crop & season...

To increase our Sales and Provide our Customers with more of what they desire, we are putting together a Certified Organic Fruit Package. We talked about this package last winter and we are now finalizing a deal with our broker. We will be offering Certified Organic Fruit Shares to our customers very soon, so stay on the lookout for that information. (Understand that we do not grow these fruits but are sourcing them from our broker)

Our Winter CSA is now Pro-Rated

Everyone is welcome to join...

For this Winter CSA we will have peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, onions, winter squash, potatoes, spinach, kohlrabi, arugula, raab, kale, collards, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, endive, escarole, scallions, fennel, radish, beets, lettuce, baby bok choi, swiss chard, turnips and more...
