It's Election Day and Week 2 of the Winter Share!

We're getting ready to roll out the trucks with your bags for the Winter Share Week 2, and it feels like a picture-perfect Fall day-- a crisp in the air, beautiful trees of all different shades, and you're about to see a huge bag filled to the brim with delicious vegetables.

If you haven't signed up yet, there is still room in the share!

Just reply to this email, "I want in!!" or click here and fill out this super easy form and we'll get you all squared away to join us for this first week.

What's in the bag? This week we have a huge bag for you all, with lots of different ingredients to conjure up a few feasts. A slab of pork spareribs, some cabbage, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, eggs, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli-- the list goes on! Each bag will also get a 3# bag of Red & Blue potatoes (perfect for your Election Week bag!) and a bunch of cilantro: mix into potato salad, top a curry or soup, or mince with some sliced apples, a creamy dressing and your lettuce for a flavorful salad.

You also might get turnips. And by might, we mean that we have a message out to one of our farmers, but one of the joys of working with the Amish community is the lack of modern methods of communication (phone, email, text) so we have to go the old stamp and a letter route. Sometimes it gets there in time, sometimes it doesn't! So if David gets the message, you'll also have some turnips.

The Vegetarian Shares will get a quart of Broccoli Soup and Spelt Berries instead of the ribs, but all the other goodies too.

Thank you to everyone who showed up for our Thanksgiving Beer Pairing Dinner last night!! We had an amazing time and are still stuffed to the gills with stuffing, turkey, mashed potatoes and pie. That was just the warm up round for the real deal-- Thanksgiving is a little more than two weeks away!

Thanksgiving is just over TWO weeks away!
