These fun boards require no sewing and no glue. Quilt Magic Kits are similar to "painting by numbers" concept. Instead of paint, you use fabric that is neatly and easily tucked into a pre-cut, Quilt Magic kit foam board. Each finished product looks like a quilted wall hanging! This is a great travel project.  It's fun and easy!

Here's a preview of our Christmas display. While I was out of town last week, the gals worked their magic!  During this first week of "Christmas in July" all Christmas fabric is 20% off!  This applies to the fabric you see here in the display. There are a few more bolts expected in the next few weeks.  We have another 20% off week later in the month so you get in on those fabrics, too!

We made the Country Register! There's a wonderful article in the current issue (July/August) of the SC & NC Country Register featuring Sassy Stitches. I'm so honored and proud! We have FREE copies in the shop. Yay us!!!

We ❤️ Creative Grids rulers and tools! We keep a nice supply and variety just for YOU!  It's impossible to carry them all. We also carry lots of Cut Loose Press patterns to go with these awesome tools. We're planning some free demos this summer to show you how some of OUR favorites work. If there's one you want and we don't have it, we will be glad to order it for you. We can usually have your order in the shop in about a week. Just let us know what you need!

Tomorrow kicks off our Anita's Attic! The  Red , White and BOOM " clearance sale is a collection of lots of different programs from Anita Goodesign!  Unlike the recent Trunk Show we had, we won't have the samples but oh my goodness, the savings are awesome!  Previous issues of All Access will only be $25!  Standard Collections are only $15 and Anita's Express Projects are only $10! Anita's University!!!!!
Join us at the Macon County Community Facilities Center on Friday & Saturday, September 7th and 8th, for two fun-filled days of learning techniques, tricks, and tips from the experts!  Here's Taylor to tell you more about this event.
The two day event includes all the goodies Taylor told you about and we also provide lunch, snacks, and water.  We are now taking sign-ups.  Grab a friend and call or come by the shop to sign up!

We now have a Carolina Shop Hop Facebook page! You can see all the shop quilts there.  We will also have a new website up and running in a few days with more information.  Don't you love all the bright colors?!?

They stamp passports, hand out prizes, greet customers, and usually have tons of fun!  If you are interested in helping us out this year, please send me an email.  Include in your email the days you are available and also how many days you would like to volunteer.   THANKS!!

SEW & Tell!
This session of beginners are working hard!  Quilts are coming together and we're having SEW much fun! Here's Nancy's top in progress.  Isn't it beautiful?


Gail does the most beautiful wool work.  Here is one of her latest projects.  Wow!


Diane has caught the bug!  She's addicted to English Paper Piecing like a bunch of us.  Look at her first project! Jan's awesome quilting just adds to the WOW! Just beautiful!

Here is an easy and quick primitive Christmas table runner called, "Winter Whimsy" from one of our favorite books, The Big Book of Table Toppers. We've made lots of shop samples from this book.  One customer planned to put runners together to make a quilt!

Our charity focus at Sassy Stitches is Ryan's Case for Smiles. This is an organization that provides fun pillowcases for sick children .  ALL of our donations will be used in Asheville, NC at Mission Children's Hospital. I volunteered for this charity for several years and have personally delivered pillow cases to kids at Mission Children's Hospital and assure you it brings great joy to sick children to pick out a fun pillowcase. When you read the story about Cindy and her son, Ryan, you will understand what a great cause this is. It's the perfect charity for anyone who sews! Here is a link to the organization's website.
We will accept pillowcases or fabric donations for making pillow cases. If you choose to make pillowcases, there are tips on the website (see link above) about making them. The volunteers who take the pillowcases wash them before delivery. Something so simple as a fun pillowcase really does bring a smile to a sick child.  THANKS!

We are more than happy to hold items for our customers. We have a basket we keep behind the counter at the register for just that purpose.
