NLBA Annual Meeting- Save the Date! 


Napier-Looby's Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at 6pm at Swett's Restaurant! Dinner will be provided. At this meeting, we will congratulate our out-going officers and elect in-coming officers. T-shirts will be distributed to those who ordered NLBA shirts. It's also a great time to pay your 2013 dues!   

We hope to see you there!

Black Law Students Association is taking over Music City to host the 2013 Southeastern Regional Convention!   

 

The 45th Annual Southern Region Black Law Student Association (SRBLSA) Convention is being held in Nashville on January 30-February 3, 2013. SRBLSA DESPERATELY needs volunteers for the following events that will take place at the Convention:

Judges for Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial and Fredrick Douglas Moot Court Competitions
The  Mock Trial Competition is one of the largest and most prestigious Mock Trial Competitions in the nation, and as previous years have demonstrated the Southern Region is one of the most competitive. Additionally, the Moot Court Competition seeks to provide NBLSA members the opportunity to hone their appellate advocacy skills in an atmosphere of zealous competition and spirited camaraderie.

Bradley Arant Summer Internship Program- Applications Available!    

Bradley Arant is looking to provide paid internships to enhance the education of well-qualified college students who are aspiring attorneys from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in the legal profession. BABC will select college students to participate in the Diversity Internship Program ("Internship Program"), a four- to six-week program during the summer of 2013..

The 9th Annual Napier Looby Bar Foundation Barristers Banquet and Awards Program will be held on February 28, 2013 at 7 p.m.  We are seeking nominations for the following awards:
