Weekly Letter From Our Pastor

New Message Series:  "Let's Sing:  O Holy Night!"
Midway through the Christmas Carol, "O Holy Night," we come upon this line:

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.

"...the weary world...," writes lyricist Placide Cappeau.
Weary.  What makes you weary?  Too little white space...problems that seem to lack solutions...unmet expectations...grandchildren too far away...unmet goals...unrealized dreams...something else?
Starting this weekend we launch a brand new 4-week message series that will take us up to Christmas Eve titled, "Let's Sing".  Each Sunday we'll be digging into a familiar Christmas Carol, beginning with this one:  "O Holy Night."
Weariness.  It's something none of us can avoid.  Yet moving through this song and God's Word, we discover nestled inside a unique source of hope and strength; one that can enable even the weariest among us to remain steadfast and strong in the face of all that would threaten to rob us of joy.  Join us this weekend for, Let's Sing:  O Holy Night!

Living for Jesus!

GIVE IT ALL: Sharing God's Generosity in 2018
Thanks to everyone for returning your GIVE IT ALL cards this past weekend. Your generous commitment to financially supporting the ministry of Living Water is what enables us to do such an outstanding job of serving others through Christ. If you didn't get the opportunity to return your card, you may still do so. Please help your church start the year strong by dropping it off or mail it to the Living Water office before December 1st. Note: you may also go the LW App and fill it out by tapping on, "GIVE IT ALL"!

Carpet Cleaning Team
Christmas break is an awesome time to clean the carpets of our church home.  That's why we're putting together a team to get the job done:  find a cleaning service (i.e., ServePro, AAA Maintenance, etc.), then move the chairs out to the cafe & back so the crew has room to do their job.  That's it!  Please sign up at Clipboard Central if you can spare a few hours this Christmas break.  Thanks!
Ruby's Pantry - Christmas Breakfast
Ruby's Pantry in December will once again have a FREE pancake/French toast breakfast served from 7:30 to 10:30am. This year's date is December 16th. We are still in need of a couple helpers for the kitchen. Please talk to Darlene Kurshinsky if you can help with this big event!
Monetary donations may also be given to help with the costs.

Meet the Living Water Family of the Week
Names: Neil, Heidi, Abigayle and Tenleigh Woods

Something interesting about our household:
Our family likes motorcycles and dirt bikes. Abigayle actually started riding dirt bike at 3 yrs old. Both girls are in dance at Christine's Dance Company in Rice Lake.
How we became connected to Living Water:
Last summer Pastor Ned was knocking on doors and we were visiting my parents when he knocked on their door.  He told us to come check Living Water out! He was very down to earth and friendly and we liked that.
What we like about Living Water:
We like that it is small, friendly, everyone is very welcoming and it's a relaxed atmosphere. We also like that our daughter's have fun while learning.
