Weekly Letter From Our Pastor

Sunday Message:  "Dr. Susan Vitalis:  Still Listening"
Many years ago while sitting in a large gathering of pastors, one of my colleagues stepped to the podium and introduced himself.  He served a large church in a large city, so I was expecting a large ego.  Instead, this was his opening line:
"Two years ago when arriving at my church, I immediately faced huge challenges:  the Sunday school rooms were overflowing, there wasn't enough seating in the worship center, and we had no place to park cars.  I am happy to report that thanks to my sound leadership and stellar preaching all problems have been completely resolved.  We now have plenty of space in the pews, ample room for Children's Ministry, and you can park anywhere you want."
When Dale Vitalis flashed this big grin I knew immediately this was a guy I wanted as a friend.  And that's what we become.  In the years that followed God would move us both move the Red River Valley and Mt. Carmel Bible Camp, two places where our stories would be further connected and our friendship deepen.
This weekend I'm very excited that Living Water is able to welcome Dale's daughter, Dr. Susan Vitalis.  Susan is an outstanding example of the radical transformation that can happen when one dedicates one's entire life to following Jesus and serving others through Christ.  I can't wait to hear her stories and discover how our time together will bless the kingdom work we are all privileged to be a part of at Living Water.

Living for Jesus!

GIVE IT ALL: Sharing God's Generosity in 2018
Hopefully we've all received our churches' invitation to think ahead to 2018 and how we can financially support the exciting change that God is bringing to this part of Barron County through the outreach work happening at Living Water.  Thank you in advance for all you do to make miracles happen every day through this mission of serving others through Christ.
Your 2018, "Give it All" Commitment Card may be returned on or before Sunday, November 12.

Christmas break is an awesome time to clean the carpets of our church home.  That's why we're putting together a team to get the job done:  find a cleaning service (i.e., ServePro, AAA Maintenance, etc.), then move the chairs out to the cafe & back so the crew has room to do their job.  That's it!  Please sign up at Clipboard Central if you can spare a few hours this Christmas break.  Thanks!

Meet the Living Water Family of the Week
Names: Lee & Sue Romsos

Something interesting about our household:
We've been married 40 years. When we were dating Sue rode on the fender of the tractor while Lee was spreading liquid manure. That's love.
How we became connected to Living Water:
We've been going to Living Water since the beginning.
What we like about Living Water:
One of the things we love about LW is how welcoming everyone is.
