Field Day
The date for field day has changed to Monday, April 28 due to a scheduling conflict and will now be organized by the ILM Academy Student Council. They are still in need of parent volunteers for it so please email us if you can help on the day of.
Donating Old Karate Belts
If your child has old karate belts no longer being used, please send them with your child on Tuesday to turn in to Sensei Patrick who will take them to El Salvador for the children training in karate there. You may do this year round on Tuesdays.
Monitoring Attendance
Please note that you can keep track of your child's attendance by logging in to Orbund and clicking on Attendance in the left hand menu. If you have forgotten your Orbund log in, please email us. OotM State Finals The Odyssey of the Mind teams which qualified for the Odyssey state finals will be competing on Saturday, April 12. The two teams who will be presenting their long-term problems are listed below with the times of their presentations. Both presentations will take place at Spring Woods High School. We invite all ILM families to attend! - The Stackable Structure (Division 2, Problem 4) at 11:00am. Team members: Laila Eid, Ayesha Nagaria, Safiyya Patanam, Ammarah Aziz, Aisha Javaid, and Amnah Aziz
- It's How We Rule (Division 2, Problem 3) at 3:20pm. Team members: Faisal Razzack, Ammar Ansari, Rayyan Khwaja, Izzah Yousuf, Zaynah Yousuf, Hadi Tameez, and Hibah Samee.

If you have not signed up already please download the app on your phone and start scanning grocery receipts. It's a simple way of helping ILM Academy raise money. We have already made more than $50 from simply scanning receipts! The more people we sign up, the more money the school can raise!

Rebuilding Together Houston
Rebuilding Together is a non-profit community service organization which works to repair or rebuild homes for low income, elderly, or veteran citizens, and families recovering from natural disasters. A group of Muslims will be assisting with their home repair project for Joyce Nelson, an 85 year-old woman, who lives near Hobby Airport. Most of the work will be easy such as scraping and repainting the exterior.
- Where: 6127 Beldart
- When: Saturday, April 5 from 9am-4pm (come anytime for any amount of time)
- Lunch will be provided
- Please bring tools such as hammers, drills, circular saws, ladders, levels, etc. if you have them or allow the team to borrow them for the day if you cannot come
