A FATHER'S DAY APPEAL
For almost 20 years children from Charlotte who face challenges, obstacles and despair in their daily lives are transported, through your generosity, to that safe and holy place of Christian love, fun and their new growth, Camp Bob at Kanuga. The longevity and success of the program is a testament to an ongoing commitment to the mission of helping those most in need, our children of Charlotte.
We at our church, St. John's Episcopal, have been incredibly fortunate to work with children from the Greater Enrichment Program serving the neediest of our community. We see firsthand the power of faith, the power of God's love and the transformative power of nature. We are fortunate to be able to combine our treasures with our time and our talents. Kanuga Kids is in need of all three! As we approach Mother's Day and Father's Day I with great hesitation and apologies in advance would ask that you prayerfully consider financially supporting these incredible children.
We have almost 70 kids paid for but we still have 30 kids left to bring along at only $350/camper, please keep Kanuga Kids in your prayers as we raise these remaining funds. Any donation supports this effort ($350 to cover all expenses to send a child to sleep away camp: $70 for a day at camp, $150 to feed a camper for a week, etc...)
If you feel called to contribute to support Kanuga Kids, THANK YOU! Please email Ken Loeber at
