* Thursday, September 10th - 7:00 pm: Beers For Paden & Katie @ BARLEY BROWNS:
On August 20th, while hiking near Salmon, Idaho Katie & Paden McCormick lost their two beloved dogs (Dexter & Dahlia) when they jumped into a scalding natural hot spring. While attempting to save them, Paden was severely burned on over 50% of his body. Katie was able to pull Paden out and drag him over half a mile where they fortunately ran into a fire crew. The firefighters were able to help stabilize Paden and radio for life flight. Paden is currently in the burn unit at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. It is anticipated that he will be there for many weeks. Paden and Katie are both college students and the expenses are already adding up. These two are both good friends of the crew here at Barley Brown's - Katie was a favorite server here and Paden was a loyal beer drinker while they lived in Baker. We want to do what we can to help, so please come down and enjoy live music, win some cool raffle prizes, and have a beer for Paden & Katie.
