Second and Third Grade had a great time on their field trip to the Herr's Factory and Nottingham Park! They learned so much about how chips and pretzels are made and packaged. Tasting fresh chips hot off the line was a highlight of the trip!
4th Grade Poetry
The 4th graders have been working hard on memorizing a chosen poem to perform in class. This year an extra special event will happen! We will perform in a stage-like arena at a parent's home! The class is invited to perform at the Holmes' Party Barn. They have prepared with costumes and props to make this the best show ever. Poetry Cafe will be awesome!
5th Grade Cinco de Cako
The 5th grade concluded its study of surface area today with the annual "Cinco de Cako" celebration. Teams built and decorated cakes with a math theme.

National History Day Statewide Competition
Several of our upper school students will be competing at the statewide competition, Friday, May 12th for National History Day: Bailey Cavallaro (7), Megan Elguicze (7), Christine Fair (8), Olivia Hoffman (7), Ashlynn Massimiano (8), Gabriella Palmer (7), and Christina Paski (8). Best of luck to these students as they are all accomplished performers!
Reading Olympics Results
Congratulations to our Reading Olympics teams! On May 10th we brought home a red and a blue ribbon. The

3rd - 8th grade students. The 3rd grade constructed "Ndebele Houses", the dwellings of the people of Southern Africa. The rest of the art work are the 3rd Trimester Projects of the
4th - 8th grades.

13th Annual Spring Art Exhibit

2017 CYO Region 32 Track and Field Championship
The St. Norbert Boys and Girls Track and Field Team won the CYO Region 32 Track and Field Championship. Additionally, the boys won their division and the girls placed 4th with their team score.
Despite some challenging weather conditions at times, we were proud of the athletes efforts and perseverance throughout the meet.
