Christ Church will have their Annual Parish meeting on January 7, 2018 immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service.
Father Dave will give a report and the election of our 2020 Vestry Members will be held. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.

We have nine candidates for the position of Vestry 2020. Each candidate has been asked to answer a few questions and submitted a photo. This information is posted on the bulletin board in the parish hall, and also available here.
Nominees are: Bill Armstrong, David Blevins, Dave Clark, Julie Daughtrey, David Sandbach, Lucille Sineath, Jeani Synyard, Steven Taylor, and Matthew Wilkin.
Vestry Elections will be held on January 7, 2018 during the Annual Parish meeting to be held immediately following the 10:00 a.m. worship service.

Revival "Fearless Faith, Boundless Love"

Revival
for the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, will share his message of love and renewal. Christ Church will be chartering a bus for 48 people which will leave Christ Church at 9:30 a.m. If you would like to attend the Revival and be on the Charter Bus, please register with the Diocese here and then contact the Church Office for a spot on the bus.

Seven people have signed up for the 2018 mission team, and that leaves eleven spots open. Because of in-country transportation space, the team will be limited to eighteen missioners.
The dates are June 23-30, and the location will be the Episcopal Campamento in the village of El Pedregal in the Dominican Republic, our traditional mission field.
The overall cost of the 2017 trip was $1,600, including the Valdosta - Santo Domingo flights and the in-country room and board, transportation, and projects costs. The costs for those flying from and back to Atlanta were less. We intend for the 2018 cost to be in this general range.
