Sunday Morning after 10:00 Service

We are looking for volunteers to help with our Coffee Hour ministry held each Sunday after the 10:00 worship service. This ministry gives members and visitors a chance to fellowship with each other over coffee and snacks. If you are willing to help out on a rotating basis (approximately once every 2 months), please contact

Zoning signs located on the property are a public notification about a hearing for approval by the historical commission about adding decks behind Tomberlin House and Louttit Hall.

| DR Environmental Official Helping With Our VBS |

It's now only 22 days until our team boards the flight from Atlanta to Santo Domingo to start our 2018 mission trip. More and more items are being checked off our to-do list. Today we picked up our team t-shirts, and four brand-new sewing machines and their transport cases arrived from Amazon. These four new machines were funded by proceeds from our DR dinner and auction on May 3, and will join four other machines that we donated to the Episcopal Campamento in El Pedregal several years ago. All eight will be used during our sewing classes this year.
We have invited a member of the Dominican government to be a guest speaker in one of our VBS classes. The overall theme of those classes is protecting the enviromnent, and Dayamo Ramirez, the guest speaker, is the head of the Dominican government's
Environment and Natural Resources agency in Jarabacoa, the large city near our work site. Dayamo is also the son-in-law of the long-time cook at the Campamento, and his wife, Yissel, was a student in our knitting classes several years ago.
