Unhanging of the Greens

The Unhanging of the Greens is this Sunday, January 7.  This will take place between the worship services, therefore beginning shortly after 9:15.  All of the decorations will be put in tubs located at various places around the narthex and sanctuary, so all we need is many willing hands to get the job done.  There will be some tasks for workers of all ages, so please consider joining in the fun and fellowship of the morning.

Thursday morning bible study

The Thursday  Morning Women's Bible Study began a new series, Thursday, January 4th  at 6:30 a.m. at Pagliacci's at 319 N. Logan, in the north dining room.  The book is; When Christians Get it Wrong by Adam Hamilton.  All interested women are invited to attend.  We usually have a bite of breakfast and then start the lesson at  6:45 and finish at  8 a.m.
Guests are welcome, and do not need to be a member of our church to come.  Questions?  Call Linda Hance at 259-6345.

Cross Training weekly prayer

Do you realize how often Jesus drew Himself apart from the crowd of people to get with His disciples or alone with God to pray?  From His prayer times came a supernatural strength and answers to His earthly situations.  We can have as much of God as we are willing to take.  Come pray with us as we pray for ourselves, others, and our church and our world.  You will not remain the same if you form this prayer-group habit.  Wednesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. at the Dickinson's at 2620 Western Avenue, Mattoon, beginning January 10.  It's a GREAT way to start your day!!!  Call 618-741-4848 if you have questions.

Choice Living

If you have felt cheated or feel that some things in your life have not changed, look out for the POWER!  We are going to target those things/people in our lives with direct prayer hits as we move through THE POWER OF PRAYING books by Stormie Omartian.  Come join us on Sunday mornings in Room 302 at 9:30 a.m. beginning Sunday, January 14th.  We will get into agreement about what our spiritual inheritance allows us to ask for through prayer!  Let's take back what satan has stolen in our lives and the lives of those we love.  Phyllis Dickinson-facilitator
