CAPSO Corner
CAPSO Corner is back!  And just in time to give some major belated thank yous.  First off, a much belated thank you to  Cheri Jaunich for single-handedly chairing and pulling together the entire auction at the Community Fundraiser last month.  "Thank you" just doesn't seem to say enough to express our appreciation and gratitude for this massive undertaking that Cheri made look so easy.
Also, our heartfelt thanks go to Grace Shanahan for leading the charge on the annual Teacher Appreciation dinner.  This is such an important event for our school and a way for CAPSO to recognize just how much we love our faculty and staff.
Finally, the "Circle of Life" most definitely includes our circle of parent volunteers who helped make the Lion King an undeniable success:  Cheri Jaunich (what does this woman not do?), Linda Stoick, Kevin Curran, Lynn Falconer, Steve Fischbeck, Kim Cooper, Janet Land, Brigid Oram, Gina and Brian Wood, Beth Springer, Veronica Reidel, Shelley Smith, Aya Dowd and Kristen Katz
If these volunteers have inspired you, CAPSO would love to have your help next year.  Thanks to those parents who have already reached out and expressed interest in taking a leadership position next year.  Any other interested volunteers should contact Katie and Margie.  We will be following up soon!
Finally, please Save the Date of Sunday, June 4.  It is "Armstrong Day at the SJ Giants' Stadium" - 1 pm game.  It is going to be a fabulous day at the ballpark with the Armstrong Community.  More details to come!

SMART Tuition
Thank you to all the Armstrong families as we work together to transition to SMART tuition, our new tuition billing and online payment system.  This new system will provide families with easy visibility into their Armstrong tuition and non-tuition payments, and will significantly improve the efficiency of the Armstrong business office.  All payments this upcoming school year will be through this system, so please make sure you are registered using the following steps.
1.         Go to the Smart Parent Login page:
2.         Click on "First time user?" in the green box
3.         To find your account, you will need two of the following:
  •  email address used to set up Smart account
  • telephone number entered at account setup
  •   Family ID that was assigned at account setup
Please keep in mind that any payments due for the current school year should still be paid directly to Armstrong.  We are here to help you if you need any assistance.  If you have any tuition billing questions, contact Madonna Uyenoyama at (650) 592-7570 ext. 1228 or email
