Sept. 30 (5:30pm-7:00pm) - The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts " What's the Bad Deal? " at the Warwick Senior Center, 132 Kings Hwy. This free seminar is presented by the BYOBag Committee of Sustainable Warwick and promotes environmentally sound practices in our hometown. Register for this event here or by calling 845-986-2720.

Oct. 2 (8:00am) - The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce holds its "Board of Directors Meeting" in the Greenbrier Room at the Mt. Alverno Center, 20 Grand Street. Visit our website for more information.

Oct. 2 & 3 - The Pre-Applefest Carnival is back in town with music, food, rides and family fun. Pay one price and ride all night! The carnival is from 5pm-10pm on Oct. 2nd and 4pm-10pm on Oct. 3rd. For more information, visit the Applefest website.

Oct. 4 (10am-5:00pm) - Enjoy a day of family fun at the 27th Annual Warwick Applefest! The day will be filled with craft and food vendors, local exhibitors, live music, a farmers market and various activities the whole family can enjoy. For more information, visit their website.

Oct. 5  (12:30pm-1:00pm)- Tune into WTBQ Radio  for  "The Chamber Show hosted by  Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce  Executive Director Michael Johndrow. I nterested in being on the show? Sept. 30 (7:00pm)- Join Albert Wisner Public Library for a night of laughter at their "Comedy Night at the Library". Will Durst and Johnny Steele perform live stand-up comedy. This performance is for adults 17 or older. To reserve your seat or for more information, visit their website

Oct. 1 (10:00am)- Wine Dine NY invite you to their tour "NYC by Land & Sea ". This includes a fully narrated tour of the NY Harbor and a trip to the 911 Memorial, along with countless sight-seeing highlights in New York. Tickets are $90 per person and reservations can be made by calling 917-647-4029.

Oct. 2 & 4 - Great music is being featured at the Dautaj this weekend. "Big Daddy & Tough Love" perform rock/soul/punk music on October 2nd. On October 4th, the Hudson Valley's premier jazz orchestra  "the NY Swing Exchange" performs from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Visit their website for more information on these events.

Oct. 3 (4:00pm-7:00pm) - The Chardavoyne Group Show will have its "Opening Reception" at the Amity Gallery.  All are invited to enjoy a wide variety of styles and mediums created by this international group based in Warwick. For more information, call 845-258-4693.

Oct. 3 (9:00pm) - Jester's Comedy Club features comedian "Keith Anthony" to perform this Saturday. Doors open at 8pm with the show beginning at 9pm. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit their website

Oct. 4 - The Sussex County Community College Foundation hosts its 8th annual "Skylander 5K & 10K Challenge". Packet pick-up is at 7am with the races beginning at 9am. Oct. 4 (10:00am-4:00pm) - Celebrate Warwick and help raise funds for the Backpack Snack Attack as UMAC hosts "United Martial Arts Community Appreciation Day" during Applefest. Enjoy a bounce house, martial arts demos, magic and much more. For more information, visit their website

Oct. 4 (6:00pm) - Come share in a night full of festivities as the OCNY Pride Center host their "Harvest Moon Party". Bring something you harvested or bought that is in season to share. Visit their website for more details.
