Chamber Elects New Chairman of the Board
The Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
elected John Philips the 2018-2019 Chairman of the Board . After the resignation of the previous Chairman, Adam Martin, who resigned in May 2018, this action was initiated, and the vote was finalized at the June 19 Board of Directors Meeting.
John Philips is an agent with State Farm Insurance, located at 324 N. South Street in Mount Airy. John is a current member of the Chamber Board and Executive Committee, serving as Chair Elect 2019. John will begin his term immediately and serve until December 31, 2019. Congratulations John!

Last week The Chamber attended  RidgeCrest's wonderful 20th Year Anniversary Celebration. A ribbon was cut and everyone had a great time eating good food and socializing.

Leadership Surry County focuses on community analysis and enhancement of one’s leadership skills. Each session will focus on an area related to Surry County, as well as a leadership activity.
