Cornerstone Program Recapped at Luncheon
The Chamber's annual Cornerstone Luncheon was held Wednesday. To date, Cornerstone investors have pledged just over $522,000, and our community has received an economic impact of over $150 million! Chairman of the Board Sam Allen and Board Members Rick Mantooth and Mark Thieman shared their advocacy for the program and encouraged attendees to consider becoming a 2012 Cornerstone Investor. Boat Race Sponsorships Offer Great Exposure for Local Businesses
In 2011 approximately 10,000 spectators gathered at Lake Nasworthy for the Showdown in San Angelo Drag Boat Races. After the event, highlights of the races were shown on the Speed Channel, CBS, and Versus to an estimated national viewing audience of 6 million people. Sponsors of the 2011 Showdown in San Angelo were able to take advantage of this extra exposure. "Being able to bring Lucas Oil and the Speed Channel on board to broadcast this event on national television enabled many consumers to see a part of San Angelo and the hospitality that this city can bring, not to mention the additional visibility of our brands through our advertising sponsorship with this event," says Brian Thomma, Branch Manager of A-B Distributing Company. The Chamber is now accepting Sponsorships for the 6th Annual Showdown in San Angelo. Sponsorships begin at $1,000 and go up to $12,000. If you are interested in sponsoring Showdown in San Angelo, please contact Jenni Hutcheson at 655-4136, ext. 228, or by email at CVBsales@sanangelo.org. |
