February 7, 2018 - WEEKLY NEWSLETTER
Holy God,
you have revealed the glory of your love in Jesus Christ,
and have given us a share in your Spirit.
May we who listen to Christ follow faithfully,
and, in the dark places where you send us,
reveal the light of your gospel. Amen.

How is your vision? There is an old adage that “seeing is believing.” But is that always true? I wonder if sometimes our eyes deceive us. What we see and experience doesn’t always reflect truth or reality. We think we understand, but discover later that we missed the point. That’s what we’ll find in the transfiguration story this Sunday. Come and check it out!

Speak to God today, He is waiting to hear from you. We have been taught that God wants us to connect with him about our lives, our struggles and our successes. He is our Father and His love for us is great and powerful. Take time to talk to your Father at least once each day, tell Him all about your life, and give Him the opportunity to reply to you. Listen for His voice, and you will receive a precious gift; the gift of the Holy Spirit. This gift brings help for all your needs.

Building A House of Prayer
for Our Church & Community

This week pray for Healing & to Cure Sickness and Disease. Through prayer for the sick and poor in health, we can find comfort in the most difficult of times. Praying for good health in times of sickness brings us closer to the holy spirit, where it’s healing powers can be felt.

Lord you stand as our lighthouse giving us hope.
We pray Lord that you will heal and comfort those who need your healing touch.
In Jesus name, Amen.
