Round the Lord in glory seated, Cherubim and seraphim
Filled His temple, and repeated each to each the alternate hymn:
"Lord, Thy glory fills the heaven, Earth is with its fullness stored;
Unto Thee be glory given, Holy, holy, holy, Lord!"
Weekly E-news for Christ Church Oberlin
Trinity Sunday and Beyond
Dear Friends in Christ,

This Saturday there is a gathering of our Mission Area at Bellwether Farm.  It will be a lovely day to see the progress on the buildings and grounds and to enjoy each other's company.  Please see additional details below.

Then on Sunday we will celebrate the Feast of the Trinity ushering in our summer worship.  Don't forget that our our next #whatsyour200 challenge is to gather 200 packages of toilet tissue for distribution at Oberlin Community Services.  Toilet paper is something that low income families cannot purchase with food stamps and it is a necessity in every household so please bring a package of four rolls with you to church each Sunday this summer if you can!

Summertime also means that our famous coffee hour is replaced by lemonade on the lawn.  If you can provide some lemonade and a simple treat after the 10:30 a.m. Mass on one of the Sundays this Summer please sign up at the welcoming table just inside the front entrance to the church. Thank you!

Please see below for an additional unique #whatsyour200 challenge being arranged by Brad Bailey and Mark your calendar for June 24th!

Join us June 24th 10:00 a.m. to assemble 200 Emergency Art Kits!

Brad Bailey has come up with a brilliant #whatsyour200 project like no other! He has put together enough supplies to assemble 200 "Emergency Art Kits" which he will distribute among those children, teens and adults who are receiving treatment for cancer at area hospitals.  Brad, an artist, who fighting spine cancer is also hoping to offer "master classes" on how to use these kits.  But first, the kits have to be assembled.  Please join Brad and others in the Christ Church Parish Hall on Saturday June 24th at 10 a.m. for an assembly line to put the kits together.  A video team from our diocesan communications office will be present to film some "B-roll" to be included in the year end bicentennial video to be presented at our 201st Annual Diocesan Convention in November.  Please see Fr. Brian for more details!
Thank you from Marty's family...

Rick Lancaster, Marty's brother, asked me to offer up gratitude from him, his son, his nephews and nieces and cousins who joined us last Saturday to celebrate Marty's life and witness.  We had a good showing of parish family and community members.  Following our Requiem Eucharist we drove Marty's ashes to Monroe Michigan where they were interred in the family plot along side her parents and her sister, Lorna.
