 Dear (Contact First Name)

Thank you!

I know that vacation weeks for rectors and staff are part of every parish practice, and that's a good thing. But I want to offer some extra thanks for the way in which you all supported me, my family and the parish in my recent time off. You sent us on our way with such encouragement and good cheer and not a single grumble or anxiety. You all stepped up and took on extra tasks, welcomed the visiting priests and joyfully assisted Holly, Katie, Karen and Jim and all the team in engaging summer worship, ministry and play at St. Alban's. Your presence and energy added to my relaxation. Thank you for this!

As for me, vacation at our simple coastal retreat involves all the expected good stuff, including time for reflection and reading. And this year, thanks to fair winds and inviting air, lots of sailing. We're blessed with a gracious little yawl that sits on her mooring peacefully all night, inviting us each morning to come aboard. We're constantly reminded the goal is not to sail the boat, but rather to stay out of the way as the the boat sails her best self.

The authenticity and simplicity of life on the shore, including the many engagements with family, friends, neighbors and locals was a real grace... refreshing and roundly appreciated.

In gratitude,

Sacred choral music this Sunday

Welcome
The Sacred Harp Singers

Sacred Harp Singing is an American tradition of Sacred choral music.
See you there.

Our Morning Prayer offering for the summer has concluded.
But ...
Look for Morning Prayer to resume in the Fall.

Essentials Pantry and Camp St. Alban's

This week at Camp St. Alban's we have been thinking about what it means to Grow with God.

As part of our formation we are collecting new underwear for the children at the Essentials Pantry.

We trust that God shows and teaches us ways to love each other, and this underwear drive is a reflection of that love as we notice the needs of our neighbors.
We invite you to join us by way of bringing in new underwear to be donated to children in our very own community.
