Markets Appear to Shake off Syria Strikes; More Economic Data Ahead
U.S. equity markets appear to be looking beyond the targeted airstrikes on Syria last week. This week brings more corporate earnings for Wall Street to digest as well as more important economic data. Retail sales, the Empire State manufacturing survey, business inventories and the NAHB/Well Fargo Housing Market Index are all due out Monday.
U.S. Producer Price Index Rises 0.3% in March
Producer prices in the U.S. increased more than expected in March, boosted by a rise in the cost of services such as airfare and healthcare. This continues to signal a buildup in inflationary pressures that will likely lead the Federal Reserve to march ahead with their plan to raise interest rates.

Golf Tip of the Week
Sometimes we are looking at a different target than the rest of our body is aiming at. Be sure to check your feet when you address the ball. Do this by placing the club on the ground right in front of your feet so the club shaft forms a line that touched both feet. This is actually where your swing is pointed towards, so be sure to always double check where you think you are aimed.
