Dear Saint Rose Families,

While the Olympics make for great passing conversation in the classrooms and hallways of Saint Rose Catholic School, the three year old preschoolers have taken the Olympic spirit one step further. Mrs. Schoen and Mrs. Shavulsky's students had the opportunity to use their imagination to transform the gym to PyeongChang.  The students "competed" in hockey, cross country skiing, bobsled and more.

It looks like they had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the Olympics and South Korea.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Bryon Borgelt

GEOGRAPHY AND HISTORY OF HAITI

This week students viewed a map of Haiti to locate our sister school, Saint Rose of Ferrier.  Click here for an interactive map.   Input "Pestel" to see the exact location.  Do not input "Ferrier" because it will show you a different Ferrier Haiti than the location of Saint Rose School.

Families may be interested in learning more about the history of the nation of Haiti.  Click here for a 6 min documentary from CBS.

We continue to collect donations for Haiti on Mass Days during Lent.  Thank you for your generous almsgiving.
 Join Us!
