2) Our love and prayers for Pastor Brian Donahue (Pastor of Worship and Young Families at Jackson Friends Church) and his family with the passing of his grandmother, Norma Rae Raymont, on Saturday, September 9, 2018.
Benson Sam   -  Please continue to pray for Pastor Benson Sam and our churches in southern India impacted by massive flooding. Benson Sam reports, “Many of our church members are in shelter homes. Many are homeless; they are in deep poverty due to continued rain.” Pictures: Pastors visit the area impacted by the flood (top). Helping hands package food to take to the relief camps (right). Abe and Diane Bible - The Bibles have been teaching Financial Freedom classes but recognize that nation-wide corruption and dishonesty contributes to an unhealthy economy. The government is now investigating the implementation of a computerized tax system to introduce standards and transparency to the tax collection process. Abe asks us to pray for the acceptance of an improved tax system that would honor God and enhance honesty and righteousness on a national basis (Romans 13:1).
Guest Speaker Opportunities
Arun and Shobha Massey are scheduling dates in EFC-ER during October. Contact Julie Jenkins ( [email protected] ) to schedule them in your church service, Bible study, prayer meeting, or other small group. A conversation over a meal is a good way to hear updates about their restructured children's ministry.
Ed and Linda are in EFC-ER through December.  In addition to Sunday services, Ed and Linda would enjoy time in small groups, home Bible studies, and meeting individually over a cup of coffee or meal.
