Eric Lundin (Law Office of Mynde Eisen), Eric Richard ( Beck Redden LLP ), Bruce Ruzinsky ( Jackson Walker LLP ), and Breton Rycroft ( Hoover Slovacek, LLP ) will present " Communications in the Workplace: Generation Gap " for 1.5 hours MCLE credit, no ethics from  1 to 2:30 p.m.  at the  Heritage Plaza  First Floor Conference Room .
This seminar will be a discussion of effective workplace communications across the generations. It will cover communications among the generations, managing expectations, technology differences, professionalism, courtesy, and persuasion.

Micah Adkins (The Adkins Firm, PC) will present " My Client’s Identity Was Stolen! What Should My Client Do? " for 1.5 hours MCLE credit, no ethics from  1 to 2:30 p.m.  at the  Heritage Plaza  First Floor Conference Room .
Identity theft is a hot topic for consumers and businesses. Attendees will learn from a plaintiff’s perspective: how to detect and deter identity theft, how to get free credit reports, how to dispute fraudulent information, and remedies available for violations of federal law.
Attendance is free for HBA members and no pre-registration is required. 
Lunch 'n' Learn: Texas Medical Cannabis Science and Law
The HBA will host a free lunch-and-learn program for members on  Thursday, April 19  from  noon to 1:00 p.m.  at the  Heritage Plaza  First Floor Conference Room Gretchen Mazziotti of  Vyripharm Biopharmaceuticals  and Lisa Pittman of  Feldmann Nagel Margulis will discuss “ Texas Medical Cannabis Science and Law ” for 1 hour MCLE credit, no ethics credit. Bring your own lunch. Day of Civility CLE Luncheon, April 20
Commemorate “A Day of Civility” and join the Houston Bar Association for lunch on Friday, April 20, from 11:30-1:00 at the 14th Court of Appeals in the  1910 Courthouse . Attorneys and judges will discuss cases where civility, or lack of civility, made a difference for clients. Panelists include Judge Mike Engelhart, Judge Michael Gomez, Judge Sylvia Matthews, Judge Robert Schaffer, and moderator Geoff Gannaway.
