If you are interested in serving as a judge for this year's Interest Fair, please e-mail Serah Snell at snells@hcs-nl.com for more details.

The Eagles faced the INCA Patriots on Thursday, February 2 at Home. The night started with an extremely close game for the Eagles 5/6th Boys team. The Patriots took the lead early on, but after the half, the Eagles came out strong and brought the score within 2 points ending the game with a score of 22-24. The Eagles 7/8th Girls team kept the intensity up and were able to bring home our only victory of the night with a score of 33-8. The Eagles 7/8th Boys team played valiantly, but ultimately fell to the Patriots to end the night.

We would like to take a moment to recognize our 8th grade athletes for their hard work and dedication as they finish their Basketball and Cheerleading seasons. The Cheerleaders finishing their 8th grade season are Grace Bedford, Cathy Cooper, Evie Hajek, and Whitney Traetow. This year's 8th Grade Girls Basketball players are Gabrielle Bedford, Grace Bedford, Lisa Buser, Lily Iglehart, Chloe Lybeck, Haley Tackaberry, Whitney Traetow, and Dayna Wichhart. The boys playing their final basketball season at Heritage are Cael Austin, Ethan Bailey, Spencer Holman, Christopher Nair, Caden Schweitzer, Mason Slaymaker, and Eli Young. We would also like to recognize our coaches for their leadership: Mary Mysnyk, Nichole Early, Jeff Schweitzer, Greg Lybeck, Matt Traetow, Jim Turnbough, and Lisa Turnbough. A special thanks to Jen Traetow for organizing concessions this season! We would especially like to thank all of our wonderful fans, alumni, and parents for cheering us on throughout the season. We hope to see you one more time at the annual Players vs Parents/Teachers games on Monday, February 13th.
Track Season is just around the corner. It is time to dust off your running shoes and prepare for warmer weather. If your 5-8th student is interested in participating in Track, students can sign up at the Athletics Bulletin board near the gym or parents can e-mail Serah Snell at snells@hcs-nl.com .
