We pray for...
  • civil discourse grounded in respect;
  • refugees, immigrants and those without a home.
  • The search for a new bishop and rector: Merciful God giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those who shall choose a bishop for this Diocese and a rector for this parish, that we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Game night tomorrow!
Mexican Train will be played Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room.  Come, bring a snack and join in on the fun!

It's Time to PAINT!
The renovations on the buildings in the upper courtyard are nearly complete.  We need your help!!

It is now time to paint!  Both the exterior and the interior of this space will need our efforts.
Two days are planned: Sundays April 22 and April 29 following the 9:30 am service. Bring your paint roller handles, pans, and brushes. Plenty of paint, rollers, rags and tape will be provided. Lunch and drinks will be available. Many hands will make this project fun. If necessary, additional days will be added during the week or another weekend day. A sign up board will be available after all services.
S.A.G.E.S next Thursday!
S.A.G.E.S. will meet Thursday, April 19 for their monthly potluck at noon in the dining room.  Bring a salad, bread, casserole or dessert to feed 5 or 6.  If you haven't joined us before, come give us a try.  We are a group of men and women who enjoy good food and fellowship.
Nominating Committee Update
The Nominating Committee met most recently on April 7th and continued working on the 12 questions for our Parish Profile.  We will be coming together again next week to finalize those answers before they are presented to the Vestry.   If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any of us: Arianna Palumbo, Bruce Brannan, Carol Williams, Christina Priddy, Janet Kaiser (committee chair), Juliana Mataya, Kathleen Dunn, Matt Chew, Pat Davis, Phil Smith.
Adult Education
Join us Sunday at 11am to discuss and deciding what we want to study next during the hour of adult formation. Think about it and come prepared with ideas that might be of interest to you.
Community Dinners return in April!
We missed February because we didn't have a cook, and we didn't last month because it was Good Friday.
Save the date, Friday, April 27. A menu hasn't been chosen yet, so keep checking here for information.
A sign up sheet is will be outside the sanctuary.

We have cooks for May but still need cooks for the rest of the year, so remember you can cook with a little help from your friends. You can reach out to Darrell Priddy via phone, email or after church with any questions or if you want to get involved!
Lyle's address
Lyle continues to recover well from his heart transplant surgery but will need to remain in Utah for some time. If anyone would like to send a card or care package to Lyle and/or Meghan while they're away from home, their address is 6425 S. 3000 E., Holladay, UT 84121. Please continue to hold them in your prayers as well!
Education for Ministry (EfM)
Every baptized person is called to ministry. The Education for Ministry (EfM) program provides people with an opportunity to discover how to respond to the call to Christian service and carry out their ministries. It is a four-year theological education program of the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. Participants commit one year at a time to meet weekly in 2.5 hour seminars led by a trained mentor. The seminars furnish an opportunity to deepen ones understanding of the reading materials which, over the four years, cover the Bible, church history, and theology . More important is the development of skills in theological reflection. In a conversational, wondering, and musing environment, participants examine their own beliefs and their relationships to our culture and the tradition of our Christian faith. Through this process participants learn what it means to be effective ministers in the world. The program will start at the beginning of September and last nine months. Tuition is $375/yr and assistance is available. If this sounds of interest to you, please contact Brian Belanger at 480-948-3420 for more information.

We aspire to be an accepting community in which people will know Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, spiritual formation and fellowship. We hope our community will encourage all to use their God given gifts to serve others in the name of Christ.
