KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT BOX (KDB)

The Department of Finance has launched a consultation seeking views on the introduction of a "best-in-class" Knowledge Development Box in Ireland. This is one of the most important tax consultations undertaken by the Government in recent years.

We will be making a submission on this issue and we welcome any input from members on this consultation.

There has been an increase in email e-billing scams in recent weeks. Please be vigilant when responding to e-invoices and when clicking links given. We have been advised of a UK Fuels E-Bill in particular which appears legitimate at first glance. Remember to implement proper procedures to ensure your staff do not accidentally pay or respond to fake invoices.
