Revenue publishes note for employers on filing P35
The Revenue office has issued an important notice to employers and pension providers to assist payroll in filing the 2015 P35 and P35L. The note details information concerning medical insurance, refunds, bank details, pension tracing numbers, Local Property Tax, the PRSI exemption marker and supplementary returns.

PAYE Estimates Manual updated for LPT
Revenue has updated its Manual on PAYE Estimates to take account of the LPT and the USC.

Breakfast Briefing Invitation  Recruitment Roadmap
  A free online toolkit  to help SMEs plan and execute the correct recruiting strategy  will be launched at a breakfast briefing on the 4th of February at 8am in the Chartered Accountants House, Dublin 2. Consultation on intermediary-type employment structures and other self-employed arrangements
Last Thursday, the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, T.D. and the Minister for Finance, Michael Noonan, T.D. initiated a consultation process on the use of intermediary-type employment structures and self-employment arrangements, and their impact on tax and PRSI.

Launch of the new Employer Disability Information Service (EDI)
EDI is a centrally based national resource for advice and information for e mployers.
The purpose is to provide employers with an expert peer source of advice and information on employing staff with disabilities and to promote increased employment.

Roscommon Revaluation
The revaluation of all commercial and industrial properties for rating purposes in the Roscommon County Council Rating Authority Area has now commenced. . A Valuation Manager will assess the value of each property and set a valuation in line with rental values in the rating authority area at the valuation date of 30th October 2015. It is envisaged that the new valuations will be published in September 2017 and come into effect for rating purposes from 2018 onwards. Further information can be found at www.valoff.ie
