Getting Out of Your Silo in the Global Maritime Industry

Collaboration among all professionals throughout all phases of ship life is crucial, as was recently stated by Dr. Richard Burke, speaking on behalf of the Educator/Researcher Face of SNAME at the 2016 Council Retreat. "The ship is one element in a worldwide transportation system. You cannot optimize the ship to the disadvantage of the rest of the system."
When you become a member of SNAME, you gain access to some of the world's top marine researchers, educators, and innovators. Use these resources to synthesize new and efficient approaches.

Listen to Dr. Burke's comments.
