My Transsexual Journey of 79 Years
THIS Sunday, August 13, 12Noon-1PM
Diane Avedovech
Join us as MCC member, Diane Avedovech, shares her spiritual journey and her journey of transition:
"Three times my life was challenged and I give God credit for pulling me through to where I am today, i.e. My birth in 1938, being hit by a 24-ton tank while on active duty, and surviving bacterial pneumonia. I've been married twice, have three incredible kids and 4 awesome grandchildren.  Sometimes, being transgendered seemed like a piece of cake, almost!  So, what's for dessert?  Stay tuned!"

Welcome Back, Colin!
Welcome back our music director, Colin!  If you haven't heard, Colin was with the Portland State Chamber Choir at the Bali International Choir Festival in July. With more than 100 choirs competing, the PSU Chamber Choir was the first American choir to ever compete -- and they WON the Grand Prix! Check out this LINK to a write up and short video HERE of their experience. Bravo PSU and Colin!
