INTAC Annual Campaign
"Pennies for Patients"
Friday, March 3
Collecting outside Masjid at 1st juma'ah
Students at The International Academy will be participating in a fundraising campaign for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and assisting families who are dealing with the many social, financial, and emotional issues that surround blood cancer and its treatment.  Participating in this program teaches students the value and joy of helping others.

Our students at INTAC enjoy having the larger community get involved in this wonderful act of giving. Therefore, on Fridays during the fundraising campaign students will be at the Masjid after Jumah prayer collecting money for the fundraiser, thru March 10th.  EVERY PENNY COUNTS!  Please look for students with white and yellow boxes. We appreciate your generosity!

Last year INTAC raised $5,705.45! In total, over the past eight years, INTAC has raised an AMAZING $37,323.20!!!!

Islamic Center In The News

Every community has a narra tive.  Either that community controls the narrative or the narrative cont rols the community. Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of the narrative. This can only be achieved if as a community we are building bridges and inroads with media.  Media outlets want to cover stories and do pieces that people are interested in. They want viewers, readers, comments, and discussions.  It is critical that as a community we are more visible and more vocal in the media.

We have been blessed for wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
