The last one was a huge success and got great feedback from those who went on what a wonderful experience it was.

This trip will be coordinated through Dar el Salam travel agency.

Take Action Against Hate

In the current climate of increased hate crimes and hateful rhetoric across our country, we encourage our community members to sign on and send a letter to their Congressional representative through the following link. This is a joint call for increase in vigilance, reporting and follow up regarding hate crimes across our country which is initiated by the national Muslim Jewish Advisory Council on which the ICGC president serves.

Islamic Center In The News

Every community has a narra tive.  Either that community controls the narrative or the narrative cont rols the community. Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of the narrative. This can only be achieved if as a community we are building bridges and inroads with media.  Media outlets want to cover stories and do pieces that people are interested in. They want viewers, readers, comments, and discussions.  It is critical that as a community we are more visible and more vocal in the media.

We have been blessed for wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
