The deadline for December lunch ordering is today. If you want to purchase lunches for your Montessori, elementary, and middle school child(ren) for the month of December, please be sure to go online to do it before midnight tonight. To learn how to do so, click here.

There will be a Singapore math info session on Friday, December 5 at about 8:15am. This session is open to parents of children in 1st-7th grades who are using Singapore math in their classes so that you can better understand the method of instruction we use in our math curriculum.

Our school yearbook club is planning out the yearbook with your picture submissions starting next week. Now you can also begin purchasing the yearbooks from now until Thanksgiving break for the price of $16 each. After Thanksgiving break, the company increases the price to $26 so purchase your yearbook(s) now! To do so:

We are planning on starting an after school Spanish program through EduMastery in the Spring semester (15 weekly classes). This program will be offered after school on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays for a charge of $280 per student for the semester. Classes are limited to 1st-5th graders and are in groups of 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th grades with 12 students per group at maximum. There will be a demo session to help you better understand the program and curriculum on Tuesday, December 9 at 3:10pm. The session will actually be a class so you can see firsthand how the subject matter will be taught. For this demo session, we are in need of 9 students from one group to sign up. If you would like your 1st-5th grader to partake in this demo or you're interested in signing them up for the program, please let us know by filling out this simple form. (This is not an official sign up for the actual program. That will come later.)

Please save the date for the Grandparents Day Lunch coming up on Wednesday, December 10 at 11:45am. A grandparent or other relative will be able to come have lunch with their ECC, Montessori, elementary, and middle school students on that day. Due to space limitations in our hall, please do not accompany the grandparents on that day unless it is necessary. Also, grandparents are responsible for bringing their own lunches on that day. Lunch will not be provided by the school. Students will still be served pasta lunch if they signed up for it via orderlunches.com. 

A women's luncheon hosted by Islamic Relief on the topic of domestic violence will be held on Saturday, December 6 from 11am-2pm. Moms, please join other women for an afternoon filled with profound talks, fabulous food, and great company in the effort to stop violence against women.
