oneBook Fair Week!

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair week is here! Be sure to drop by before or after school to browse the books and purchase some for your children, gifts for your nieces/nephews, and for your children's class libraries. The fair will begin on Monday, December 8 in the afternoon (as it will be set up that morning) and will end on Friday, December 12 in the morning (as it will be broken down that afternoon). If you can help to set up the fair on Monday, please contact us!
Classroom Wish Lists

Your child(ren)'s teacher(s) may give you or post up a wish list for her own class library. Please take a look at them and see if you can purchase one of the books. It's a great way to benefit the class and give something to all of the students!
Online Book Fair

Skip the book fair rush and checkout line by shopping for books online! You can order books from our online book fair site (click here to visit it) and the books will be shipped to the school for free. We will send them home with your child when we receive them.
twoOpen AP Meeting

There will be an open meeting with our Advisory Panel, the governing board of ILM Academy, on Sunday, December 14 at 9am. Parents are encouraged to attend to discuss progress of our school. Please RSVP by responding to this email so we may make space accommodations.
Next PTA Meeting

The next PTA meeting is on Tuesday, December 9 at 1:45pm. Please attend to discuss upcoming events and projects!
Singapore Math Session Follow Up

Thank you for attending the Singapore math info session this morning. As a follow up, please find some helpful documents listed below:
Also, the book we use is the Math in Focus series by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
threeEduMastery After School Spanish Program Demo

We are planning on starting an after school Spanish program through EduMastery in the Spring semester (15 weekly classes). This program will be offered after school on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays for a charge of $280 per student for the semester. Classes are limited to 1st-5th graders and are in groups of 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th grades with 12 students per group at maximum. There will be a demo session to help you better understand the program and curriculum on Tuesday, December 9 at 3:10pm. The session will actually be a class so you can see firsthand how the subject matter will be taught. For this demo session, we are in need of 9 students from one group to sign up. If you would like your 1st-5th grader to partake in this demo or you're interested in signing them up for the program, please let us know by filling out this simple form. (This is not an official sign up for the actual program. That will come later.)
Grandparents Day Lunch

The Grandparents Day Lunch is on Wednesday, December 10 at 11:45am. A grandparent or other relative will be able to come have lunch with their ECC, Montessori, elementary, and middle school students on that day. Due to space limitations in our hall, please do not accompany the grandparents on that day unless it is necessary. Also, grandparents are responsible for bringing their own lunches on that day. Lunch will not be provided by the school. Students will still be served pasta lunch if they signed up for it for that day.
Yearbook Discount Purchasing Extended

The school yearbook discount price of $16 has been extended until December 31. After that deadline, if you still want to purchase the yearbooks, the company will increase the price to $26 so purchase your yearbook(s) now! To do so:
